  • Had the worst shopping experience with the company thus far. On 11/11/17 I placed an order. Later that night after midnight I realized I order one too many of an item and attempted to cancel knowing the policy states cancellations can occur as long as the item has not shipped. After that did not work I contacted customer service being informed the item could not be cancelled or even the quantity reduced because the item was close to shipping. What the hell does that mean?? Just put one back!! I ended up cancelling the entire order and everything else was cancelled except the items to change. I have been a customer since 2007 and I think the company is great but there are some areas that need improvement.

    • I was notified the order has been cancelled and I will not incur any charges. Although this was certainly an unpleasant experience I do appreciate the efforts to resolve the issue. Pardon my choice of words used to express my frustration before. Amazon is still my go to company for some many things. I now will have to wait days before the funds appear back on my debit card and so far each party is blaming the other for the hold up but that is expected and besides the holidays are upon us. It is certainly time to just be grateful, things could be a lot worse. Thanks Amazon.

  • Problems with shipping , join prime and all of a sudden the item is not available on prime when one goes to purchase. Ask to speak to a supervisor , the customer service agent cannot find a e-mail address for one . Customer service is the worst nowadays terrible. Will use wish.com more since Amazon has gone downhill rapidly with their outsourcing CS agents who have no idea how deal with complaints. Spent hundreds over the years but this will be far less in the future will shop elsewhere.

    • I have been dealing with the same thing, I have drivers not even coming to the door when my partner is home and I get a email saying delivery attempted, this is the 5th time they have done this, I paid for overnight shipping and they once again couldn’t deliver to the person sitting inside the house for some reason, there is a HUGE lawsuit stirring up here they need to get their act together very quickly because there is a HUGE amount of she said he said going on in that company and they are going to all get WE SAID very soon if they do not get it together. I have had enough of the BS they are pulling, Amazon has lost their professionalism about them somewhere, I hope another company gets going similar to Amazon soon because they will have a lot of new customers and Amazon will be going out of Business quick.

  • I have spent no less than 7 hours over the last 4 days attempting to resolve a shipping issue that evolved into an order being placed without my authorization that resulted in my original order being cancelled and the wrong order to be delivered. Throughout this process I have been disrespected, insulted, angered and just frustrated by the lack of professionalism, ineptitude, arrogance and attitudes of representatives, supervisors and so called managers. I refuse to believe that this is the true Amazon way. My issue remains unresolved as far as I’m concerned. If I don’t get a reply to this communication I will believe Amazon has no regard for its customers or its own image. No longer will I purchase from Amazon nor will I recommend ANY of Amazon’s products or services.

  • My amazon order number 1145050xxxxxxxxx and 114-750778xxxxxxxx are done without my permission and there has been a fraudulent activity with my account. thus i want to return and need my money back to my account.I am following up with the amazon representatives and there is still no result.my order has been refused and still it is waiting for the amazon to get it back.the name of the courier is aremex. Yesterday it was been told that amazon is going to call aremex usa to return back the package as it cannot be returned once received and then couriered back as it is an electronic appliance.i request you to please contact aramex usa and revert back my amount in my account as soon as possible.

    • Hi Mukesh, for help on individual orders, you need to contact Amazon customer service directly. It also usually possible to contact your credit card company to request a chargeback. The credit card company will then contact Amazon.com to request details about the transaction.

  • ***WARNING*** TO Amazon online Customers, Amazon has let scammers advertise on their site to rip you off, be careful what or who you buy from, they send a fake USPS tracking number that comes back “No such number in database”
    Tried to send message to seller (like Amazon says to do) but comes back “undeliverable”, Just happened to me and about 20 others that left feedback stating same thing happened to them.

    Amazon knew something wasn’t right, they took down this sellers storefront and items from the site, not saying anything to us customers that know we just got taken for our money because Amazon let a fox into the henhouse.
    I was told on the phone with amazon customer care that they were going to stick to policy, (i have to wait till after the bogus delivery date goes by according to the FAKE tracking number) even though Amazon knows it’s a scam cause they took down seller’s storefront and items as well they know the emails we sent the seller was sent back “undeliverable”

    Came to your site in good faith Amazon to shop, believing i was going to order and get my item without hassle or being scammed by those you let advertize and sell on your site……………I mean how does someone do this? do you not have a policy, (what you seem to be so keen to enforce on your customers) or any other means to see if these people are a real business, I think you OWE it to those customers who shop at Amazon to make sure they are protected better than this.

  • I have been a Prime member for years and have loved Amazon for a long time (do a lot of business with Amazon), but this past week has been literally the worst customer service experiences ever. I’ve had my prime membership canceled twice (not by my request), things screwed up, things charged wrong, etc. I’ve spent hours via chat, phone, etc. Previously my customer service experiences have been awesome, but now they are horrible. I get people who can’t understand or speak or write English. I have no problem with reps from other nationalities, countries, etc. but they should at least be competent and understand and be able to help. It’s absolutely ridiculous what I’ve gone through. I’m so disappointed with Amazon customer service and wish I could speak to someone in the continental U.S. so hours are not wasted. As of right now I am REALLY rethinking my relationship with Amazon and whether I’m going to continue to do business. You also recently made a deal with our unpopular governor to tax Oklahomans. Another failure. They already have a mechanism in place for that and now we will be double taxed so why would I buy from Amazon now? Taxed, pay for shipping anyway (Prime cost), etc. Horrible customer service now alone is enough to turn my business away. I’m so upset (and definitely not the only one). What are you going to do to fix your customer service problems, be more price competitive, and earn my business back?

  • Amazon employee for appeals and wrongful termination. It’s has been two weeks since the process started and I still do not have any results.
    As you can understand, this has caused a financial hardship for me.
     
    The last time I made contact with Amazon, I was forwarded to the ethics department. My termination and appeal process was not handled well. I am supposed to have already had an appointment with the GM to hear my appeal case.
     
    ·        I was terminated on the floor in front of everyone and embarrassed.
    ·        When I came back to file my appeal, I was not allowed in the building and was given the important information outside next to the machines. I could not hear what was explained to me.
    ·        Local HR and ERC HR seems to have different guidelines and each one accuses the other of wrong doing.
    ·        No one calls me back when they state that they will. I have to explain my case to everyone I speak to.
     
    The ethics team told me they would follow up within 3 business days. I have not heard anything from anyone at amazon.
     
    Given the circumstances and unfair treatment I have received, you leave me no choice but to seek legal action.

  • Would love to get the Amazon Prime app for my television but have been told my tv (a Sharp) doesn’t qualify for your app. My provider (Google Fiber) doesn’t qualify either. I would think you would like as many people as possible using your app. Can’t you do something about this?

  • I have purchased a product from Amazon on 4th January by paying online payment but the productwas not delivered at my home .

    The product is Mamy Poko Pants amount Rs. 550.00.

    Received lots of SMS from the AMAZON that material arriving early , will be delivered early and then I received the confirmation that material delivered on 8th January . I had contacted customer care on 9th sharing the issue , he logged a complain on this and told me that I will get the update on the same on next day 8.30am . But no update received , then I contacted Mr. NAGESH customer care on 10th evening shared the same information but he had no idea on the complaint logged and confirmed me that the ordered material not in stock due to that material not delivered .

    Then I had requested to share AMAZON escalation matrix but he refused the same and I requested him to connect with his senior .

    The Senior customer care officer did not share his name and told me that someone received the material on the receipt . Requested him to share that proof of delivery, he told me that is not possible as the signature not recognized and anything written over there. I have to take arefund as no other option is there .

    I had requested that person to deliver the same material which I ordered as early as possible , as per his confirmation it is not possible from their end.

    This is very frustrating to see the amazon response, when you are telling people 100 % customer protection and then you are sending 3 different messages to a customer

  • I cannot believe this. I am writing about an organization that is coupled with the trumputin bunch.

    I have been hacked by a customer service in the philippines that I had been outsourced to, by your telephone customer service number and since that went so bad, i am being hacked and someone is changing my passwords to various accounts that have been found after your records were searched and more info opened other doors. i have tried to get help from you to no avail

    I hope all that happens as a result of Amazon being a trumputin enterprise are what you have earned. best of luck to you and the other lemmings of trumputins.

  • Amazon has let me down after many years of being a prime member and even having their credit card. As soon as my membership is expires I will closing every account I have with amazon and closing my amazon credit card too. Amazon has become just like ebay now. Not caring about customers and letting private sellers to steal from customers. Incredibly bad customer service and supervisors. I will most definitely spread my word around as much as I can for the rest of my life. This company is falling apart now.

  • I was a very happy Amazon Fulfillment associate until I was fired today by telephone.Why you may ask, because I couldn’t get to work because of a car breakdown.I was short 7 hours of personal, so I was terminated. I was a model associate, cross trained in many different areas.None of this mattered.I was not even given notice.Here is the craziest part.I was told I could be rehired after 90 days.What a company, they claim to care about associates, obviously not.Beware before you apply for a job.

  • Not related to my most recent communication on Dec 7 with LaQuisha L; is the unfortunate reality that I am very disappointed with paying for Prime “service”. Orders are incorrect, nor received as Prime status is to afford customers, items to be returned are not picked up the carrier, items come from overseas can take up to two months, and sizing is often not calibrated to US standard sizing. Asian sizes are very small, cutting the item larger is not the same as creating patterns that are designed for the typical US person/child. Items from overseas often come in plastic bags that damage the item or worse do not arrive as they are held in customs and returned to the seller I am told.

    I am disabled and unable to shop or drive as I’d like, resulting using mail order. Oddly ordering from the vast majority of other vendors do not create such issues except on the very rare occasion. Truthfully, AMAZON has made noble and great strides to correct each situation, but generally at the cost of the company and the cost of the item arriving not at all, later than the scheduled time, in poor condition or badly sized. Leaving me very, VERY little trust in the AMAZON brand for purchasing Prime member. As a person who is disabled and unable to drive to shop, I am forced to shop mail order. Leave no question that AMAZON is not my preferred list of vendors.

    Do understand that with very few exceptions I have been treated respectfully, given professional and reasonable exchange from your customer service representatives, for the poor original service,. They appear to be trained to crisis manage and settle documented disputes. The customer service personnel are not the issue. The issue is that they have to get involved at all. The issues need to be resolved as you will lose more customers, as your company loses the trust of individuals. AMAZON is large and should be able to manage these issues. A very reluctant and disappointed customer, although I do keep trying to believe the next time will be better, my believe is dwindling to a precariously thin thread of hope.

      Mr Bezos, I am a CEO with a masters in economics and business and you should fire every last person on you “leadership” team they were rude and nasty.

  • When you call the Amazon corporate number, nobody answers the phone. I’ve been dealing with Amazon for return items for the past 5 days. They’re outsourcing and these people, that they outsource to are in China don’t reply to a refund, so how in are we supposed to get anything done, when corporate doesn’t answer the phone.
